Torrin Turley

altTorrin Turley began dancing at the age of two and since then has continued her training throughout Arizona as well as Chicago, New York, and California. While pursuing her dance career, she also maintained high academic standards, finishing as the valedictorian of her graduating class. She is currently studying at the University of Arizona, on full academic scholarship, working towards her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance. She has competed both regionally and nationally, winning awards in various styles of dance including, ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical/contemporary and hip hop. She was titled Arizona Young Artist Dance Winner in 2010 and top soloist of Starpower, In10sity, NYCDA, Showstoppers, Starlight, KAR, & Rainbow Connection.

For the past two summers she has worked on scholarship with the Inaside Chicago Dance Company, and continues to train with choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Brian Friedman, Tyce Diorio, & Lauren Gottlieb. Torrin has always had a passion for and a strong work ethic in dance. She loves teaching and watching as her students progress and find their own passion, and is excited to bring all of her knowledge and love to Creative Dance Arts this year.
